Express Entry systemandProvincial Nominee Programsare the two main programs that invite the skilled foreign workers and allocate the permanent residency visa invitation to the selected candidates.

The combined target of both Express Entry and Provincial Nominee Program is 189,300 invitations in 2021, i.e. Just under 1/2 of total entries.
