The neighborhood is very busy and has lots of shopping/food options, & it's basically the Chinatown of Queens (which is awesome).The check-in was quick and straightforward. The bathroom looked spotless-- the bathtub was practically blinding white. They also changed the towels, bedsheets, toilet paper, trash cans, và even changed out our soap every day while we were out in the city. One day the toilet clogged, so we told the front desk before we left in the morning. When we came back that evening it was unclogged. For such a cheap price the service was surprisingly good. We really appreciated that.The main downside is probably the proximity to LaGuardia airport; my SO was woken up every day at 6am because of the planes flying over the building. If you're a heavy sleeper or if you've got earplugs it should be manageable.
